Jim founded Huntseeds in 1986. In managing the company he has direct involvement in both business and product development. Additionally Jim runs commercial dairy and beef enterprises and thus has an in depth knowledge of maize cultivation and production from maize forage diets.

Pauline Harris
Running her own book keeping/accountancy business for mainly agricultural based client companies Pauline has always been involved in managing financial aspects of the family businesses. Since Huntseeds was formed in 1986 Pauline has undertaken the position of Company Accountant.

Commercial Manager
Robert Hunt
Joining the family business after graduating from the RAC, Cirencester and having gained trade experience with the plant breeders CPB Twyford, Robert manages the commercial aspects of the business. Monitoring current trends and changes in the agricultural industry are important in his role to ensure Huntseeds is equipped to take the lead in supporting and expanding the markets in which the company operates.

National Sales Manager
Dave Blowers
Dave manages the commercialisation of new maize hybrids as they emerge from the breeding programme, working closely with distributors and merchants. Dave has vast experience of the maize crop having been maize product manager for Johnsons seeds prior to joining Huntseeds in 1998 and in constantly monitoring crops with customers from Scotland to Southern England ensures the hybrids best suited to local conditions are made available.

Richard Franklin
Richard is responsible for business development in the South and South West. Following 20 years as Seed Manager with Dalgety Agriculture, Richard joined Huntseeds in 2000 and with a detailed understanding of maize and other forage crops liases closely with clients and their farmer customers to promote new business opportunities.

Trials Manager
Chris Fullerton BSc.
Chris runs the product development programme based on replicated field trials located across the country. Each year in excess of 3,500 trial plots are monitored to evaluate new hybrids, one of the most extensive private maize selection programmes in the UK.
